This interactive unit provides extensive drawing functionality to the projector and allows characters and drawings to be projected on the screen while making a presentation, which can be saved to your computer. It is possible to mount this unit on the body of the projector, which means that it can be used not only when the NEC UM330xi projector is mounted on a wall, but also when it is placed on a table. It can also reduce shadow and/or glare on the image for audience.
Ultra short throw distances
Ultra short focal lenses provide for a larger image using a shorter throw distance when compared to a typical projector lens.
Quick start (3 seconds), Quick Power Off, Direct Power Off
3 secondsafter turning on the power, the UM330xi is ready to display PC or video images.
The projector can be put away immediately after the projector is powered down. No cool down period is required after the projector is turned off from the remote control or cabinet control panel.
The UM330xi projector has a feature called "Direct Power Off". This feature allows the projector to be turned off (even when projecting an image) by using the Main Power Switch or disconnecting the AC power supply.
To turn off the AC power supply when the projector is powered on, use a power strip equipped with a switch and a breaker.

Crestron Roomview compatibility
The projector supports Crestron Roomview, allowing multiple devices connected in the network to be managed and controlled from a computer or controller
Eco Mode function
The "Eco Mode" energy-saving option enables the projector brightness to be lowered in order to prolong the service life of the lamp and to cut power consumption, providing the surrounding light conditions allow this. This mode is furthermore characterised by lower operating noise
