Lens and input options, together with a full range of accessories, mean that the Sony VPL-X2000 can be configured to exactly meet your installation requirements. Adding just these features alone would be a great improvement to todays installation projectors. Sony has gone several steps further - providing all of these features in a projector that is smaller and easier to handle than other projectors designed for rental, fixed installation and large venue applications.
Option Slots
The VPL-X2000E was designed with versatility in mind. The option slots in the rear panel accept a range of
Sony IFB Interface Boards that allow multiple sources to be connected to the projection system at the same
time.
4 Lamp- Fail Safe
A new fail safe feature, using four lamps, has been built in to the design. Even if one lamp fails, the projector will still continue to function. If a second fails, the projector automatically switches to standby mode.
Power Focus, Zoom and Picture Shift
Power Focus and Power Zoom are easily controlled with the control panel or the supplied remote commander. The projected image can be shifted up and down using the Picture Shift.
Trigger Terminal
The VPL-X2000E has a TRIG terminal to provide control of an integrated projection room, including screens,
curtains and lighting.
DRC (Digital Reality Creation)
The DRC technology allows you to obtain a finer, more detailed picture with four-times higher density than the conventional video picture.
