Sanyo TOPAZreal technology.
TOPAZreal technologyreproduces realistic and faithful images on a big screen by using three technologies that improve video signal processing, enable fine-tuned lens iris adjustments, and provide total control of lamp light volume.
TopazReal technology ensures higher-definition projection of all video formats.
Improved video signal processing 12bit digital imaging gives 4096 gradations for each of the RGB channels delivering over 60 times more colour shades than its predecessor. Regardless of the source, the Sanyo PLV-Z4 achieves beautiful projection and impressive colour precision with over 68 billion graduations of colour.
Dual iris light engine
How well blacks are rendered has a crucial impact on the contrast and overall quality of your video images.
The new dual iris light engine with one iris fitted into the lens and an additional controlling the light output of the lamp provides total control of the light volume allowing a high-contrast, three-dimensional image with stunningly real blacks.
React image mode
The PLV-Z4 constantly analyses the average picture level (APL) of the screen, and along with the dual iris light engine controls the lamp output for an appropriate volume of light.
This way, problems with glaring whites or murky, undifferentiated blacks are resolved, as is the problem of a grey-black screen.
New optical zoom lens & wide-range lens shift
A new and extremely versatile zoom lens more than triples the previous models range and with the vertical and horizontal lens shift adjustments allows for more room placement options.
The projector is now even easier to be hung from the ceiling, put on a shelf at the back of the room, or just placed on a coffee table.
Automatic Slide Shutter
