Digital Progressive Scanning
Doubles the video information being sent to the projector, substantially increasing video-image detail and resolution. Each pixel is monitored using Sanyo’s original motion detection algorithm to ensure increased vertical resolution and crisper moving images.
Power Lens Shift
The 7:1-1:1 up/down power lens shift feature allows for greater PLV-70 placement flexibility by raising or lowering the image without having to move the projector.
Digital Realized Interpolation Technology (DRIT)
This revolutionary and proprietary technology digitally reconstructs an image by either compressing or expanding it to make it compatible with the resolution of this projector.
Polarized Beam Splitter (PBS) Optical System
This technology helps assure a high uniformity rate and a beam twice that of conventional projectors. It combines all of the S-wave light emitted from the projector’s lamp with the P-wave light. The result is a super bright image with nearly the same brightness from side to side and top to bottom.
Unique Color Management System
The PLV-70 widescreen projector is High Definition Television Compatible, accepting the 1080i, 1035i, 720p, 575p, 575i, 480p and 480i HDTV resolution standards. Progressive Scan circuit can even convert a 1080 interlaced source to 1080 progressive.
Network Connectivity
Sanyo’s optional (POA-PN01A) PJ-Net organizer module, offering advanced tools for operating and administering one or a series of projectors via a network, using only a web browser.
