Progressive IC with 3-2 Pulldown
Proprietary Sanyo digital progressive integrated circuit significantly improves the appearance of moving images. This IC incorporates 3-2 pulldown technology, which can effectively double the resolution of images from DVD playback.
Polarized Beam Splitter (PBS) Optical System
This technology helps assure a high uniformity rate and a beam twice that of conventional projectors. It combines all of the S-wave light emitted from the plc-xu51’s lamp with the P-wave light. The result is a super bright image, with nearly the same brightness from side to side and top to bottom.
1:1.5 Wide Zoom Lens
The plc-xu51 comes equipped with a wide range zoom lens capable of producing a 100" diagonal image from a distance of 8.’to 12.9’. The Wide Zoom lens, covers the needs of most short throw and standard throw applications.
Optional Multi Card Imager
An optional Multi Card Imager Box with a wired LAN module (POA-PN20) also accepts an optional wireless LAN card (POA-WLC20) for network image transfer and projector control/administration.
Digital Visual Interface
DVI-I provides true digital data transfer from the source to the projector. Eliminates ghosting, noise and signal degradation, while allowing for longer cable runs.
Black Board Mode
For more effective presentations in rooms with dark surfaced walls (i.e.: green boards), this feature adjusts white balance and gamma correction automatically to project an intelligible image.
