The HT300 LINK offers the following array of new features:
LINK Concept: the HT300 LINK features the acclaimed and successful DigiOptic™ Image Processor (DOIP) already in use with the well-known RTX line. Based on a CMOS chip-set this optical link allows a fully digital source-to-display link via Optical Fibers. As the RTX the HT300 LINK will be the first and only product in the market to have an Optical Fiber connection, up to 1600ft., with 3 high-speed lasers between the smart Digi-Optictm remote input box and the projector for a loss-free and interference-free signal.
New Digital Inputs: The HT300 LINK’s external image processor features new digital inputs such as HDMI™-HDCP and DVI that allows a complete digital connectivity to an increasing amount of video sources equipped with digital outputs, thus guaranteeing a perfect reproduction, without any loss of information or interference in the signal.
Signal management: with this innovative concept of using an external input/image processing box connected via Optical Fibers to the projector, SIM2 has made installations and signal management an easy task. Sources are typically located far away from the projector and it is becoming very difficul to run HD compatible cables for long distances. With the HT300 LINK this issue no longer exists, due to the fact that the Digi-Optictm Image Processor is placed next to the sources and only one Optical Fiber cable runs to the projector delivering any HD signal without deterioration and up to 1600 ft.
Upgradability: the innovative connectivity of the HT300 LINK through the external DigiOptic™ Image Processor allows the user to approach this moment of digital confusion with ease.
The DigiOptic™ Image Processor features new digital inputs, but it will also be upgradable from the end of this year. This means that the user will no longer have to worry about changing the whole unit, but will only upgrade the external input/image processor. By the end of the year, SIM2 will feature as an option the possibility to include
High contrast: The software and light engine has been further improved by SIM2’s R&D to allow the HT300 LINK to deliver an impressive outstanding contrast. This improvement coupled with TI’s HD2+ chip allows the HT300 LINK to reach a high contrast of 2800:1, thus delivering on the screen even more realistic and emotional images.
Lamp & Light management: The HT300 LINK will have a brightness burst function, increasing the image brightness up to 15% without loss in contrast or black level.
Silent color wheel: As a new standard the HT300 LINK is equipped with a new 60mm color wheel. A high performance very low noise wheel that will make Home Cinema experience even more comfortable and enjoyable.
New remote control: Always tuned to home theater enthusiasts’ needs, SIM2 equipped its HT300 LINK with a backlit remote control for an easy access to product commands and OSD functions even in a dark environment.
The HT300 LINK also sports all of the stunning features of the RTX model, such as:
Built-in deinterlacer and video enhancement: Directional Correlational Deinterlacing (DCDi™) by Faroudja.
Accurate color rendition: Thanks to a sophisticated proprietary optical design and a very high performance zoom lens, the reds, greens and blues are rich, saturated and vibrant colors.
6-segment color wheel : the 6-segment color wheel dramatically reduces the color separation artifacts (commonly referred as a "rainbow effect"); the annoying color flickering visible to a small percentage of individuals.
Complete compatibility with all video sources, picture standards (PAL, NTSC, SECAM) and computer graphics up to 1600 x 1200 pixels resolution (compressed).
