The CP-S245 is for use with computers that display a 800x600 (SVGA) pixel image. You can check the resolution of your computer on a Windows computer by opening the Control Panel and double-clicking on the Display icon. Then click on the Settings tab. Please note that most notebook and desktop computers produced in the last 2 years now use the 1024x768 (XGA) resolution. This can display a 1024x768 image but uses a method called compression to display the 1024x768 lines into a 800x600 display area. To do this lines are missed out which doesn’t give as good an image as a projector designed for XGA. However, you can lower the resolution on your computer to 800x600 when designing and giving presentations if necessary.
