Clear Projection Tailored to Your Space
Up to 7,200 lm for Stunning Visuals Under Lights
The VMZ72 Series’ high-efficiency optical engine delivers up to 7,200 lm brightness, ensuring clear, sharp, and vibrant visuals in well-lit spaces. Enhance viewer comfort and communication quality in meetings and classes without dimming the lights or pulling the blinds.

Dynamic Contrast Adds Depth, Clarity, and Realism
Dynamic Contrast achieves a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio by adjusting light output to each scene’s requirements. It analyzes the signal frame-by-frame to ensure smooth scene transitions while sharply defining the differences between light and dark. The result is deeper blacks, brighter whites, and vibrant colors that clarify every detail, even in shadowed areas.
Optimized Visuals for Your Space
Daylight View Basic uses a sensor to measure ambient light levels in your room and adjusts sharpness, halftone color, contrast, and brightness to optimize image visibility regardless of room illumination. The result is a clearer, more detailed image, even in challenging conditions.

Smooth, Crisp Details at WUXGA
WUXGA (1920 x 1200) LCD panels improve detail definition for a more comfortable and insightful experience. Text edges are smooth, sharp, and easy to read, even for those seated furthest from the screen.

Supports Widescreen Video Content
Display widescreen content, such as 21:9 video conferencing layouts, at its original aspect ratio. Remote participants’ faces can be aligned at eye level with in-room attendees, improving communication and engagement during meetings or classes.

Quiet Operation for Hybrid Lessons and Meetings
The projector’s heat-resistant light source reduces operating noise, enhancing the clarity of conversations during in-person or hybrid lessons and meetings. In Quiet 2 Mode, operating noise is just 25 dB —about as soft as the sound of rustling leaves.
Stylish Design Blends Into Your Room
Available in black or white, panasonic PT-VMZ72 projectors feature a compact form that harmonizes unobtrusively into any environment. Whether installed in an office, classroom, or museum, the projector minimizes distractions, keeping the focus on your presentation.
Stress-Free Installation Flexibility
Installation Streamlined with 1.6x Zoom and Lens Shift
Maximize your screen area in rooms of any shape or size. Can project a 100-inch image from 2.35 m (7.54 ft) and delivers bright, vibrant visuals on screens up to 300 inches. Its 1.6x optical zoom (throw ratio: 1.09–1.77:1) offers flexibility in mounting, making it easier to work around ceiling obstructions or adjust the image to fit the screen from an existing mount. Combined with lens shift (V: 0%, 44%; H: ±20%), it supports off-axis and high mounting positions while maintaining accurate image geometry.
Digital Zoom Extender: Freedom for Every Layout
Digital Zoom Extender and Digital Image Shift functions are useful when the desired mounting position is too far from the screen or on-axis placement is impractical. Digital Image Shift supports 10% image shift in any direction, enabling off-axis or high-ceiling mounting. Digital Zoom Extender lets you retain your previous projector’s mount position by extending the throw distance beyond the optical zoom range, potentially saving on construction work.

Quickly Find the Projection Angle with Angle Monitor
Aligning the projection angle with the design simulation can be challenging and usually requires two people. The Series features a built-in gyro sensor that detects changes in the projector’s pitch and roll angles, which are graphically displayed in the OSD settings menu. Installers can adjust the projection angle without needing assistance.

Correct Localized Distortion with Grid Adjustment
Grid Adjustment offers pinpoint correction of localized distortion on the screen caused by obstructions using the remote control. Users can select various grid resolutions to enable point-by-point or line-based batch corrections. Correction data is saved when grid or point numbers are changed for seamless transitions from basic to detailed adjustments.
Intuitive 6-Point Screen Adjustment System
The VMZ72 Series features 6-Point Screen Adjustment, which allows you to remove trapezoidal distortion when projecting from an angle using the 4-Corner and H/V Keystone Correction functions. Additional control points at the top and bottom of the screen can be used to remove distortion when projecting into a corner.

Built-in Geometric Adjustment Suite
Geometric Adjustment includes essential tools for correcting image distortion when projecting at angles or onto curved and irregular surfaces. It supports spherical, cylindrical, and complex screen shapes without a connected PC. Features such as Maintain Aspect Ratio and Independent Corner Adjustment simplify the correction process. Additionally, users can save and reapply adjustment settings, making it easy to manage corrections and track progress.

Features Eco-Friendly Recycled Materials
The plastics used in the main projector body contain about 47% recycled resins, reducing the utilization of virgin materials. Recyclable cardboard insulation replaces foam in the shipping carton, and unnecessary packaging materials have been eliminated to reduce waste. By supporting eco-friendly manufacturing and recycling-based programs at end-of-life, you can help reduce your organization’s environmental impact.
Auto Power On Function Limits Energy Waste
Panasonic laser projectors can enter Quick Startup sleep mode after a certain period without an input signal, allowing playback to resume in about one second. However, if no signal is detected before the Quick Startup timer expires, the projector shuts down and must be powered on again manually. The projector Series resolves this with Auto Power On. This feature automatically powers up the projector and resumes playback when an input signal is detected, even after the projector has shut down, minimizing interruptions and conserving energy.
