Clear Projection in Bright Spaces
Enhance Visual Impact with Striking Graphics
The PT-VMZ6ST features a high-efficiency optical engine that delivers up to 6,200 lm brightness, ensuring vibrant, consistently beautiful visuals even on large screens. Its 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio boosts the impact of colorful content, providing depth and dimensionality essential for an engaging viewing experience.

Dynamic Contrast Adds Depth and Impact
Dynamic Contrast analyzes the input signal frame-by-frame and uses scene-linking to digitally adjust light output based on each scene’s contrast requirements. The technology accurately reproduces challenging content where light and dark scenes frequently interchange. Enjoy clearer detail in shadows with deeper blacks, brighter whites, and more vibrant colors.
Effortless Automation with Built-In Scheduling
The VMZ6ST Series introduces a new scheduling feature accessed via the OSD settings menu. You can program the projector to perform automated actions, including power on/off, shutter activation, and input selection, at specific times throughout the week. This functionality streamlines operations, reduces manual labor, and optimizes resource management.
Eco-Friendly Design
The projector body’s plastic contains about 56% recycled resins, reducing the usage of virgin materials. The laser light source and long-life ECO Filter need no maintenance for 20,000 hours, reducing cost and waste. Auto Power On conserves energy, and built-in scheduling supports automated operation, saving resources.
Installation Freedom: 1.2x Optical Zoom and Wide-Range Shift
Enjoy greater installation flexibility thanks to the 1.2x optical zoom, which provides about 460 mm (18.05 inches) of mounting distance adjustment to avoid ceiling obstacles. The projector offers +50% vertical and ±20% horizontal lens shift, accommodating off-axis or high mounting positions while maintaining image geometry. This adaptability is ideal for challenging layouts where the optimal projector position isn’t available.
Digital Zoom Extender: Installation Freedom for Any Layout
Digital Zoom Extender and Digital Image Shift functions are useful when the desired mounting position is too far from the screen, or on-axis placement is impractical. Digital Image Shift supports 10% image shift in any direction, enabling off-axis or high-ceiling mounting. Digital Zoom Extender lets you retain your previous projector’s mount position by extending the throw distance beyond the optical zoom range, saving construction work.

Quickly Find the Projection Angle with Angle Monitor
Aligning the projection angle with the design simulation can be challenging and usually requires two people. The Series features a built-in angle sensor that detects changes in the projector’s pitch and roll angles, which are graphically displayed in the OSD settings menu. Installers can adjust the projection angle without needing assistance.

Correct Localized Distortion with Grid
Operable via remote control, Free Grid offers pinpoint correction of localized distortion on the screen caused by obstructions. Users can select grids ranging 17 x 11 lines, enabling point-by-point and line-based batch corrections. Correction data is saved when grid or point numbers are changed for seamless transitions from basic to detailed adjustments.
Flexible 6-Point collection
6-Point Screen Adjustment, which allows you to remove trapezoidal distortion when projecting from an angle using the 4-Corner and H/V Keystone Correction functions. Additional control points at the top and bottom of the screen can be used to remove distortion when projecting into a corner.
Built-in Geometric Adjustment Functions
Geometric Adjustment includes essential tools for correcting image distortion when projecting at angles or onto curved and irregular surfaces. It supports spherical, cylindrical, and complex screen shapes without a connected PC. Features such as Maintain Aspect Ratio and Independent Corner Adjustment simplify the correction process. Additionally, users can save and reapply adjustment settings, making it easy to manage corrections and track progress.
Flexible Connectivity
Single-Cable 4K DIGITAL LINK Solution
4K DIGITAL LINK is a connection based on HDBaseT™ that supports long-distance video, audio, and control-signal transmission via a single CAT 5e LAN cable, reducing installation complexity in large venues with a remote server room.
Accepts 4K Signals via HDMI™ and DIGITAL LINK
Accepts 4K video signals via DIGITAL LINK and HDMI™ terminals, simplifying projector integration into your existing infrastructure. This capability enables 4K signal transmission to display endpoints with varying screen resolutions, eliminating the need for external converters or content re-encoding.
Supports Next-Generation Networking Control Protocols
Dedicated LAN terminal and DIGITAL LINK connections support the latest protocols, including IPv6, Art-Net DMX, PJLink™ (Class 2), Crestron Connected® V2, Crestron® XiO Cloud, and Extron XTP®. The projector also includes an emulation function to ensure compatibility with legacy management software.
Works with Multi Monitoring & Control Software
Compatible with Multi Monitoring & Control Software, enabling management of up to 2,048 display devices from a remote PC over LAN. The software facilitates status monitoring, device control, playlist delivery, playback scheduling, and system-map visualization. For more information, please visit our software information webpage.
Data Cloning Function via LAN or USB Memory Devices
Applying the same adjustments to each projector in your fleet can be time-consuming. To expedite this task, the Series features a data cloning function that allows main projector settings, including saved adjustment data, to be copied to sub-projectors via LAN or USB flash memory device.
Dual HDMI™ Inputs Support CEC Command-Compatible Signals
Both HDMI™ inputs support Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) command-compatible signals from compatible devices. This feature allows limited projector control via the source device, streamlining operation.
Color Adjustment for Tailored Reproduction
Introduces a new color adjustment system that allows precise hue, saturation, and color value adjustment across all RGBMYC axes. You can effectively fine-tune color expression to match specific content or environment. Whether enhancing the lush greens of a golf course or accurately reproducing a digital artwork palette, this technology gives you the control needed to create a bold, impactful experience.
Image Brilliance in Bright Spaces
Daylight View Basic uses a sensor to measure ambient light levels in your space and adjusts sharpness, halftone color, contrast, and brightness to optimize image visibility regardless of room illumination. The result is a clearer, more detailed image, even in challenging conditions.

Eco-Friendly Design
Features Eco-Friendly Recycled Materials
The plastics used in the main projector body contain about 56% recycled resins, reducing the utilization of virgin materials. Recyclable cardboard insulation replaces foam in the shipping carton, and unnecessary packaging materials have been eliminated to reduce waste. By supporting eco-friendly manufacturing and recycling-based programs at end-of-life, you can help reduce your organization’s environmental impact.
No Light-Source Maintenance for 20,000 Hours
Offers more than consistent, long-lasting picture quality. Its laser light source also operates for about 20,000 hours without maintenance, outperforming lamp projectors that require several lamp replacements over the same period. This reduces operating costs and eliminates mercury lamp disposal.
Long-Life ECO Filter Reduces Downtime
ECO Filter includes a Micro-Cut Filter that collects minute dust particles with an electrostatic effect. With the dust-resistant projector cabinet design, ECO Filter enables low maintenance and long-term use with less downtime. Filter replacement is recommended at about 20,000 hours when used in typical commercial environments. If it’s necessary to maintain the filter before then, it can be washed and reused, reducing waste, cost, and labor.
Auto Power On Function Limits Energy Waste
Panasonic laser projectors can enter Quick Startup standby mode after a certain period without an input signal, allowing playback to resume swiftly. However, if no signal is detected before the Quick Startup timer expires, the projector shuts down and must be powered on again manually. The projector resolves this with Auto Power On. This feature automatically powers up the projector and resumes playback when an input signal is detected, even after the projector has shut down, minimizing interruptions and conserving energy.
