Connect every and any video source from PC’s to video, the HT1100 is also ready for the latest high bandwidth DVD players using the DVID digital input with HDCP decryption built in. For use in the home and public areas the projector has 3D geometric image correction, making installations easier while making sure your video picture is perfectly square even if the projector location is not ideal. Sophisticated control of home cinema or commercial systems employing LAN network is also possible.
Vivid Picture Quality
The incredibly high contrast of 3500:1 has been achieved by employing NEC’s unique optical technology, including a 12deg & Black DMD chip and an optical engine with an iris function.
Cross colour and cross luminance phenomena caused by 3D Y/C separation (for NTSC signal) have been drastically reduced by employing a 10-bit Video Decoder LSI developed by using NEC’s advanced IC technology. High contrast and precise image expression is the result of NEC’s unique imaging function built-into the equipment. Furthermore, NEC developed a new LSI with a SweetVision™ function using an optical illusion, which is the first technology of its kind in the industry, to create image quality with incomparable contrast.
3D Reform
The NEC HT1100 can correct trapezoidal image distortions projected from an angled position (3D Reform), which means greater freedom in setting up the projector. Simply set the four corners of the distorted image and square the picture using the remote control.
High quality reproduction of TV, DVD, digital satellite and TV broadcast’s, home cinema and commercial entertainment is what the HT1100 delivers. For the home user, the projector is geared to deliver the best in class display with an industry first 3500:1 contrast ratio. The coupling of Texas Instruments DMD device to NEC’s new optical Iris Lever, and new digital 10-Bit SweetVision™ chip technology brings significant improvements to your home entertainment viewing.
