Thin Client Projector Enabling Access to the Cloud
When connected to a LAN, users can log-in to remote computers directly from the projector, retrieve stored images and play them back. This eliminates the need to carry around data and enables simple, no-fuss projection. The UD740U itself also functions as a terminal adapter enabling connection to a cloud through a computer or server. Applications and data can be used in the cloud infrastructure environment, helping to reduce the amount invested in school equipment. Amazingly Easy to Use and gives presenters access to information from their remote servers.
Expand Creativity and Learning with Tablets and Smartphones
Used with a tablet incorporating the SidePad function or Wifi Doc, it is possible to expand the breadth of classroom communications even further.
Images Pop with Colour and Clarity
Projections come to life with a higher contrast of 3000:1 ratio and 4100lm brightness. Images are clear and crisp even in large, brightly-lit venues. Built-in BrilliantColor™ and the Mitsubishi Electric color wheel ensure true-to-life colors. Whether the source is a computer, video player or other device, the DLP projector reproduces bright, colorful and vivid images.
USB/LAN or Computer-Free Presentations
UD740U flexibility allows you to present with or without a PC. For computer-free presentations, attach a USB storage device directly to the projector. Convert PowerPoint into a special format using the PtG Converter and then save onto a USB device. Slides can also be put onto a USB device. Attach the USB directly to the projector for PC-less presentations. To reproduce images from a computer, simply use a USB or LAN cable.
Flexible Installation and User-Friendly Operation
The vertical lens shift eliminates the need to move the DLP projector to adjust the image projection. The lens shift also enables installation in virtually any setting. Using Audio Mix and the built-in 10W speaker, the voice of the presenter and audio from an external audio source can be delivered simultaneously. Distracting background fan noise is eliminated when in low lamp mode, delivering quiet 28dB operation.
Built with Network-Compatibility
Display computer images via wired or Wi-Fi LAN, or transmit via USB cable. Using LAN, up to four computers can be connected to a single projector. The DLP projector screen can be divided into quarters, reproducing all computer screens simultaneously. A RJ-45 LAN terminal enables remote operation. When used with Crestron RoomView™, it is possible to have integrated control of up to 250 projectors, including on/off control, message display and confirmation of lamp service hours.
