Solid State Laser
Laser phosphor is a lampless projection illumination platform that uses blue laser diodes as the primary light source to generate the three primary colors – red, blue, green. The blue light from the laser diodes shines onto a spinning wheel that is coated in a phosphor compound. The blue light excites the phosphor, emitting yellow light. The yellow light is then segmented using a color wheel to create red and green light while the blue light component directly passes through a clear segment in the phosphor wheel. In some cases, designs can include one wavelength of low-cost blue laser diodes to excite the phosphor wheel and a different wavelength of blue laser diodes to inject directly into the optical path. The Christie DWU880-gs projector then sends the separated red, green and blue colors onto an imaging surface, such as a DLP® chip, which then sends the light through a lens and onto the projection screen.
Full HD Resolution
Enjoy images in Full HD resolution and crisp, sharp text without any distortion. Easily read the fine print in applications such as Excel and Word. images are near cinema quality.
HDBaseT Support
Groundbreaking HDBaseT connectivity combines video, audio, and device control signals from multiple sources including PCs, laptops, document cameras, Blu-ray, DVDs onto a signal CAT5 cable, capable of lossless transmissions up to 100 meters.
LAN Network Function
The DWU880-gs is loaded with the Wired LAN network control. You can operate and manage the projector via network.
AMX Compatibility
Dynamic discovery protocol is incorporated into the projector allowing for easy installation with AMX control systems.
Crestron RoomView
- Using the compatible RoomView® software you can power on/off, monitor, manage and control up to 250 projectors at the same time from any computer.
- Schedule the projectors to power on/off.
- Control and alter the projector settings using the simple web browser
- Emergency text broadcast capabilities for urgent or important announcements.
- Automatically receive email updates for lamp maintenance.
3G-SDI
3G-SDI (Serial Digital Interface) is used for transmission of uncompressed, unencrypted digital video signals at a data rate of 2.97Gbit/s. The bitrate can support 1080p/60p Full HD video via one single coaxial cable up to 100 meters, which reduces the set-up complexity in live events or staging shows.
DVI interface
The DVI interface allows digital signal to be transferred without loss and ensures crystal clear pictures.
Contrast Ratio
The high 300,000:1 contrast ratio allow for fine detail and subtle color differences to be rendered vividly even in darkly lit scenes.
Lens Shift - Horizontal /Vertical
The convenience of the horizontal/ vertical lens shift systems deliver perfectly proportioned images despite installation or placement challenges in any venue.
Edge Blending Support
Edge Blending accounts for the intersecting area between adjacent images to adjust the brightness of the overlap at the edges to make multi-screen projection truly seamless. Color Matching function can then be used to calibrate any small differences in the color output profile of each projector.
Warp - Geometric Correction
Corner fit for 4 corners and Surface fit for pincushion and barrel offer convenient control to form perfectly aligned images. Corner fit offers individual adjustment of each corner to fit the image into difficult corners, and surface fit enables alignment onto uniquely shaped or curved projection surfaces
Optional lenses
Offers increased placement flexibility, with a standard lens for the brightest images. and For even greater flexibility, lenses with varying throw ranges including short, wide and rear, along with mid- to long-throw lenses that allow users to choose the motorized lens most suited for their environment.
