Native Full HD Resolution (1920 x 1080)
Canon's Full HD resolution brings bright, true widescreen display of intricately detailed HD video content and still images with outstanding color richness to midsize room installations in high resolution Full HD (1920 x 1080) at a competitive price. Content is projected without compression. Widescreen graphics, text and other visual content from laptops and desktop computers are shown in accurate proportions, just as it appears on most monitor screens. Widely used and highly popular, Full HD resolution makes this projector especially suited to applications where native content being shown is already in Full HD resolution.
DLP Technology
The Canon LV-HD420 projector utilizes Single-chip Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology which is a widely utilized projection technology that creates natural and lifelike images. The DLP technology utilizes a 6-segment color wheel along with a reflective Digital Micromirror Device (DMD) to produce video and images with high brightness. The resulting high-resolution video and images maintain the details inherent in what you are showing.
Flexible Image Quality Adjustments
To achieve the best possible picture for your setting and presentation content, this projector features flexible image adjustment options. These include Multiple Image Modes and a Screen Color Correction function.
Multiple Image Modes
Image Modes provide different variations of color reproduction characteristics suitable for the image type and projection environment. They include:
- Presentation: Ideal for somewhat bright rooms when text needs to be clear, such as when part of a video presentation.
- Standard: Ideal for bright rooms, and when using content from computer screens or motion picture content.
- sRGB: Complies with the sRGB standards and is intended to optimize the projection of photographs from sRGB compatible digital cameras.
- Movie/Cinema: Intended for richly colorful videos or images.
- User1/User2: Two user-defined modes that make it simple for users to customize and store up to two unique image modes. This allows multiple presenters to share the projector while keeping the image settings optimized for diverse subject matters or sources. In this mode, you may also make advanced color adjustments through the management of the six colors (R/G/B/C/M/Y) on the color wheel.
Screen Color Correction Mode
When projecting to a non-white, colored surface, colors of the projected image may appear different from the original image. The Screen Color feature helps to correctly match the colors of projected images to the color of many projected surfaces.
Versatile Connectivity
Connections include: HDMI and an HDMI/MHL connection that simplifies connecting portable devices for high-definition playback.
Industry-standard control and networking inputs include a USB mini B port for service, a network-ready RJ-45 port that enables authorized users to manage and control multiple projectors from any PC on a network (Gigabit data transfer speeds are supported), an RS-232 serial connection for monitoring the projector locally through a third-party control system, a USB Type A port to be used as a power supply terminal and a mini-jack that provides a trigger for screen operation.
Compatibility with Crestron
helps ensure seamless integration into many systems or infrastructures and smooth network management. Support for PJLink™ also makes it possible to control and monitor the projector over a network – this feature is ideal for observing lamp hours, usage and much more.
The LV-HD420 projector is also equipped with e-Control, which allows the user to connect with the projector when using HTML via an internet browser. By typing the IP address of the projector into browser, users can connect and access information such as On/Off functions, Source settings, Blank, Inputs and more.
