Redefining the quality standard for installation projectors.

The Canon WUX4000 Pro AV Projectors are designed to display bright, high-resolution WUXGA  (1920 x 1200) widescreen 16:10 video and  still images in larger-venue environments. Rated at 5000 and 4000 lumens respectively, the WUX4000 uses advanced AISYS-enhanced LCOS technology for vivid, seamless images with intricate detail, accurate color, crisp contrast, sharp blacks, and HD video with more natural motion.

Built-in Canon Color-Correction IC, 3D color LUT (look-up table), dynamic gamma, and memory color-correction combine to provide advanced color renements

Highlights

  • Native WUXGA resolution and Full HD capability
  • LCOS technology
  • 4000 lumens
  • 1000:1 contrast ratio
  • Motorised lens shift, zoom and focus
  • 3 interchangeable lens options
  • Advanced RGB and gamma adjustment
  • DVI and HDMI inputs
  • PJLink compatible Network port

The Canon WUX4000 projector offer a choice of three lenses – which include a 1.5x Standard Zoom, 0.8x Ultra Wide-Angle, or a 1.7x Long Focus Zoom – to suit a variety of applications and environments. In addition, a motorized lens shift feature can compensate for moderate projector-placement obstacles and provide installation convenience.

WUXGA resolution and LCOS technology – A unique combination

Projecting at WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels), raises the quality bar for installation projectors. Images from a PC or Macintosh are delivered with exceptional clarity, while Full HD video is reproduced with perfect detail. Canon LCOS technology overcomes the typical side-effects of conventional image projection, producing stunning images without the unwanted ‘lattice’ or ‘rainbow’ effects.

Exceptional performance

Employs the latest AISYS optical system, delivering a powerful 4000 lumens. AISYS optimises the performance of the LCOS panels, for results that cut through high levels of ambient light. A high 1000:1 contrast ratio ensures vivid colours and excellent black levels.

Canon Interchangeable Lens Range

The WUX4000 is the first model in the XEED range to offer a choice of high-quality interchangeable lenses. For most installations, the standard 1.5x zoom lens will be sufficient. However, a long-focus zoom lens is also available for larger venues, while the ultra-wide fixed lens is perfect for rear projection. Whichever lens is chosen, Canon quality is assured - ensuring that image detail is maintained without sacrificing brightness or image geometry.

Motorised Lens Shift

Features powered vertical and horizontal lens shift, ensuring straightforward installation. Vertical shift can be varied between +55% and -15% of image height, while horizontal shift can be adjusted between +/-10% of image width.

Flexible Integration and Versatile Connectivity

Designed for use with high-definition digital sources, incorporating both DVI-D and HDMI ports. A 15-pin VGA terminal is provided and three mini-jacks provide audio connectivity. Serial and network ports enable control and monitoring, while PJLink compatibility makes the projector ideal for AV system integration.

Easy Maintenance

Built to last, has a modular design which facilitates easy servicing. The high-efficiency lamp has a lifespan of up to 4000 hours (in Quiet Mode) and is accessed from the rear of the projector. The air filter simply slides out from the side, while the projector remains in situ. Quick access is even provided to key optical components that have a finite lifespan, removing the need for complex dismantling. Maintenance has never been quicker or easier
