Air Shot™ (Version 2)
Sony’s Air Shot™ (Version 2) technology also makes wireless presentations easy enough for first-time users. High brightness and high resolution ensure superb picture quality in any environment and thanks to Side Shot™ the Sony VPL-CX76 projector does not have to be placed directly at the centre of the screen. This new version offers the following advantages:

Sony Air Shot™ gives a choice of two connection modes:

Simple mode: an easy 3-step set-up process

Manual mode: configure wireless settings manually

Connect up to 100 PC’s to one VPL-CX76

Display the image from one PC on up to five VPL-CX76

Connect to a LAN (Local Area Network) via a wireless LAN access point
Memory Stick
Photos (JPEG, DCF), video clips (MPEG1) and Microsoft PowerPoint files saved as JPEG can be viewed directly from the projector using Memory Stick™ media*. BMP and TIFF files can be projected by converting them to JPEG files, using the supplied Projector Station for Presentation software.
The VPL-CX76 has a standard size Memory Stick™ slot, compatible with Duo size and M.S. PRO. This means there is no need for a PC. Images can be controlled directly via the remote commander.
*Memory Stick™ media of over 2GB are not supported.
Off & Go Function
The fan continues to cool the projector after the power supply is removed, enabling users to unplug the projector immediately after use, without damaging the lamp. (Other projectors need to be cooled and remain connected to the power supply after use.)
