Bright and Real HD Images Right in Your Living Room

The JVC LX-NZ30 is a high-performance 4K UHD/HDR home theatre projector with laser light source technology BLU-Escent. Thanks to the BLU-Escent light source, it realises brightness of 3,300 lumens so there is no need to pull the curtains every time. Plus, there is no need to care about the lamp life as it offers 20,000 hours of long life. The low latency in combination with the 1080p240Hz input takes gaming on this projector to another level.
4K UHD Laser HDR10 DLP Technology

Dynamic Light Source Control for Realistic Image Reproduction

Laser light sources can control light output instantaneously, enabling dynamic brightness adjustment with minimal delay. The Blu-Escent laser light source enables control of laser output optimized according to the brightness of each scene, reproducing images that resemble human perception.

Bright and Colorful 4K Images

The bright DLP projection system featured on the JVC LX-NZ30 uses a 0.47-inch DMD device to display 4K resolution (3840x2160), which is four times higher than Full HD (1080P), in full detail. The bright, vividly colored, high-definition 4K imagesallow viewers to enjoy a sense of presence and depth as if actually being there in the same place.

Geometric Distortion Correction Further Enhances Ease of Installation

The LX-NZ30's lens shift and zoom functions enhance ease of installation, and it is now equipped with a new geometric correction function that corrects geometric distortions. In addition to trapezoidal correction for horizontal, vertical, and tilt adjustme nt, it is also equipped with corner adjustment for four-corner adjustment and warping correction for distortion correction that can be moved arbitrarily at cross points, enabling an even higher degree of flexibility in installation.

HDR Compatibility

When an HDR10 signal is detected the system uses a technique called "Auto Tone Mapping" which uses included mastering information that indicates the brightness of the content to make automatic brightness adjustments to provide the optimal setting for the specific content. This function can also be used in conjunction with the HDR Optimizer installed in some Panasonic UHD-BD players to give the optimal HDR image even in the absence of mastering information. However, if there is no mastering information included in the content and the viewer is not using a UHD-BD player, the brightness settings will refer to a fixed value or need manual adjustment.

Automatic Detection of HDR Signals to Deliver Realistic and Dynamic High-Definition Images

In addition to the HDR10 format used in Ultra HD Blu-ray™ and streaming services, the LX-NZ30 also supports the HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) format used in broadcasting and other applications. When each of these signals is detected, the projector automatically switches to the optimal picture quality mode to project high-quality, realistic, dynamic images.

Installation Wherever You Want. Let the Wide Lens Shift and 1.6x Zoom Do the Work.

Even in a room with limited space, it can be installed with a minimal footprint and maximum flexibility, from the ceiling to the shelf and just about anywhere in between. In addition to a wide lens shift range of 60% vertical and 23% horizontal, this projector is equipped with a 1.6x zoom that enables a projection distance of 3 to 4.8 m at 100 inches, making it flexible for a variety of installation environments without sacrificing image quality.

Infinite Contrast

The laser light source is able to control light output instantaneously so brightness can be controlled dynamically with much less delay than on projectors that use mechanical apertures, that can reproduce images closer to human perception. Additionally, in response to a black signal, the laser can control output to produce a contrast of infinity:1.

18Gbps HDMI Input with HDCP2.2

Compatible with full-spec 4K input at 18Gbps throughput – supporting 4K/60p 4:4:4/36bit, 4K/60p 4:2:2/36bit, and 4K/24p 4:4:4/36bit signals – for more vivid colours and subtle gradations. What’s more, HDCP2.2 compatibility means that this projector supports the latest video-streaming services and copyright-protected content such as UHD Blu-ray discs.

Wide Lens Shift Function: ±60% Vertical, ±23% Horizontal

A compact design facilitates projector installation – but if lens shift is insufficient it may require keystone adjustment, which can degrade picture quality. It features a wide lens shift: ±60% vertically and ±23% horizontally.

Bright Picture and 100% Coverage of Rec. 709

Viewing movies, broadcast and other content in a room that’s well lit can be difficult with a conventional projector. But despite its compact size, the projector offers brightness of 3,300 lumens thanks to a highly efficient lamp system. And 100% coverage of the Rec. 709 gamut means you enjoy beautiful colour rendition.

Warping correction

The warping function allows projection of natural-looking images that match the form of the screen by moving the cross points of vertical and horizontal lines to correct distortions of the image when projected onto an uneven screen surface, as well as cylindrical or spherical surfaces.
