The embedded HQV processor significantly enhances the split-screen function of the projector by delivering superior performance in de-interlacing, noise reduction and scaling with both standard-definition and high-definition signals. The HQV is able to perform the full suite of image-enhancing processing calculations on two simultaneous high definition sources, bringing flawless performance for picture-in-picture or split-screen functions.
Both the SP830 features a zoom control function that offers users to zoom in on specific portions of the displayed image and an off-line cooling function for automatic cooling after unplugging the projector. Furthermore, both projectors boast a wealth of application modes and are compatible with various inputs including DVI-I (with HDCP), component, composite and S-video inputs.
