The Screenplay 5700 (SP5700) with the latest DLP chip from Texas Instruments, the Matterhorn LVDS DMD was designed from the ground up to be used in affordable Home Theater applications. Similar to the native XGA (1024x768 pixel) chips, the Matterhorn will eliminate problems associated with connecting 4:3 source when using a 16:9 screen in that all images will be scaled to the 16:9 format without running off screen.
