Standby power consumption has also been cut by 90 per cent, with the P1380w consuming only 0.5W when not in use. In its high brightness projection mode, the Acer P1380w boasts an impressive 5,000 hours of lamp bulb life while running at a whisper-quiet 31 dBA (28 dBA in Eco mode).

Modern, fashionable design with versatile setup options

The Acer P1380W has an understated, unobtrusive gloss black finish with silver accents and is designed to complement a modern office or home interior. The projector can be mounted vertically on a ceiling for a professional long-term installation.

The Acer four-part Dust Shield prevents any damage to the projector from airborne dust and particulates. The system has different filters in place to protect different components.  The projection engine is sealed to prevent damage and there is a separate filter to protect the vertical boards.  The optional 3D dust filter also stops dust intruding through the air vents and the lens shield stops dust falling on the lens which, in turn, increases the life of the device.

Thanks to the zoom lens and built-in keystone correction, the unit is also easy to set up in either a permanent installation or on a desk or office boardroom table for temporary use with minimal effort. The Acer P1380W has a range of digital video inputs, including MHL-compatible HDMI and two D-Sub VGA inputs for connecting older office PCs.

Expressive display for great presentations and videos

The combination of a high 2800 lumen brightness level and 13,000:1 contrast ratio means the P1380w can create bright and vibrant images in all viewing environments. The projector can be used at a maximum distance of up to 9.7m from the screen or as close as 1.6m, and can project up to a maximum size of 300 inches (7.6m).

The high 1280x800 WXGA resolution and widescreen layout means the Acer P1383W is great for viewing DVD or Blu-ray movies or for viewing presentations created on a modern laptop or PC. In addition, it is also 3D ready with the optional DLP® Link™ 3D glasses, and supports HDMI 3D from a compatible PC, Blu-ray player or other HDMI device.
